What publishers are looking for these days isn't radical feminism. It's corporate feminism - a brand of feminism designed to sell books and magazines, three-piece suits, airline tickets, Scotch, cigarettes and, most important, corporate America's message, which runs: 'Yes, women were discriminated against in the past, but that unfortunate mistake has been remedied; now every woman can attain wealth, prestige and power by dint of individual rather than collective effort.

Brooklyn: News of Worker Rights March.

Workers in Brooklyn
Marching IWW workers and their Allies.

A "briefing" From the Feb. 19th Brooklyn Foodstuffs Workers Rally, via the IWW local 460 union.


Yesterday, the IWW and Make the Road by Walking marched through the industrial areas of Brooklyn and Queens for hours in below-freezing conditions, demanding justice for fired workers. Major news organizations such as
Telemundo (Channel 47),
News12 (video link),
WBAI - "Building Bridges"
, and El Diario covered the event.
