The Socialist Party USA (NYC local) invites you to a viewing and discussion of a recently produced documentary entitled “Facing Fascism: New Yorkers Remember the Spanish Civil War.” “Facing Fascism” uses first-person interviews to document the stories of five New Yorkers who joined the international solidarity movement to defend the democratically elected leftwing government of Spain against a fascist rebellion in 1936. The five participants became members of a group of American leftists who called themselves the Abraham Lincoln Brigade. | ||
